24 Mar 2023In response to AWS’ continued growth, GorillaStack is pleased to announce our latest support across the seven new geographical locations:
- Asia Pacific (Hyderabad)
- Europe (Spain)
- Middle East (UAE)
- Europe (Zurich)
- Asia Pacific (Osaka)
- Asia Pacific (Jakarta)
- Asia Pacific (Melbourne)
Our focus on this development highlights our passion to enable our users to be extremely flexible and take advantage of the conceptually infinite scalability and reliability of cloud.
What is an AWS Region?
AWS Regions are geographic locations around the world, designed to be isolated from other regions to achieve the greatest possible fault tolerance and stability. Customers can choose to host their cloud infrastructure in a region physically closest to them and benefit from lower network latency and increase communication quality.
Why are AWS Regions important to GorillaStack?
The context of a rule defines where the rule will run. For the AWS platform, Accounts and Regions have to be chosen to complete the context set up.
Once enabled in the AWS Management Console, our users can enable their AWS Regions in their GorillaStack profile to ensure all applicable regions are visible when adding rules. GorillaStack use cases are available to all AWS Regions.
To enable additional regions within existing rules, the rule context can be edited, the region/s selected and the rule updated.
AWS have plans for a further five regions, and as these become available, GorillaStack is committed to support their expansion for our growing global user base. We look forward to announcing that in due course. Check out the latest AWS Global Infrastructure.
