Optimizing your Lambda cold starts with serverless-webpack
10 Jan 2020Customers were telling us: sometimes, creating Rules can be a little involved. I really want to be browsing “use cases” and enabling different “outcomes”.
We couldn’t agree more.
We have built Templates exactly for this purpose. (They are the equivalent of CloudFormation for GorillaStack). We have also compiled a catalog of Templates that are ready for user consumption.
Users can either deploy Templates with sensible defaults (e.g. default notification configuration) or override defaults by customizing Template parameters.
Currently, only Real Time Events customers can access Templates. However we plan to create a set of Templates for customers of Cost Optimization and Backup in the future.
